Spruce Moose Furniture specialises in making modern timber bookshelves and large wall units.
I have been building beautiful shelving units for my Wellington and Manawatu-Whanganui customers for 15 years.
I am happy to measure up for Wellington, Kapiti, Palmerston North and Whanganui customers.
Choose a design straight from the website, or have it built in the measurements you require. I can also make changes to the designs or draw up a new unit to suit.
I love building shelving, and am very proud of their quality and strength. I use NZ timber and European hardware, and they are built to flat pack. I can also deliver, assemble and secure units to the wall.
My standard timber thickness is either 28mm or 30mm. But I can build them between 20mm and 35mm when required.
Our timber finishes:
- Enamel Painted Units (Fine Rolled Finish) – I use alabaster white as our standard white, or you can choose your own paint colour. Painted units are built from top grade clears Pine.
- Oiled Mac (Macrocarpa) – Natural Mac or with teak tone.
- Rimu – I can aim to use a light / medium tone or a medium / darker tone timber.
- Oiled Rimu – I can use a light / medium tone, a medium / dark tone, or dark rimu with tint.
I also sometimes have Oiled Eucalyptus with natural or with teak tones, and Oiled Blackwood.
